How to export Google Play audiobooks and play them in another app
Check whether a Google Play audiobook can be exported, download it on a computer, and add a supported audio file to Audely.

Some Google Play audiobooks can be exported as audio files and played in another compatible app. Others are available only through Google Play Books, so check the title before planning to move it.
Check whether the audiobook can be exported
Open the audiobook’s details page in Google Play Books on a computer. Scroll to Additional information and look for Export option.
Google states that some audiobooks are not available for export. If the title has no export option, continue listening in Google Play Books. Audely does not bypass that restriction.
Export the audiobook on a computer
Open your Google Play Books library and filter it to Audiobooks. Find the book, choose More, then choose Export.
After the download finishes, locate it in Finder or your browser’s Downloads folder. Confirm that you received a playable audio file in a format Audely supports before changing or deleting anything in the original library.
Move the exported audio into a folder
Create a clear folder for the book and place every downloaded part inside it. If you want to select the same source through Files on iPhone or iPad, put that folder in iCloud Drive and wait for the upload to complete.
Keep the original export backed up. Do not convert it unless a specific file cannot be decoded, because conversion can discard chapters, artwork, or other useful information.
Add the exported audiobook to Audely
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings › Library, choose Add folder, and select the folder through Files. On Mac, open Audely › Settings › Library and choose Add folder.
Identify the folder as Audiobooks, then review the resulting title, author, narrator, artwork, and part order. Audely keeps its library information separate and leaves the exported source audio in the folder you chose.
