Frequently asked questions

Which iPhone and iPad versions support Audely?

Audely requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.

Can Audely use audio from the Files app?

Yes. Add a local or iCloud Drive folder through the system file picker, then identify its contents as podcasts, audiobooks, or both.

Does Audely work in landscape?

Audely is portrait-only on iPhone. On iPad it supports portrait, portrait upside down, and both landscape orientations.

Is the iPad app different from the iPhone app?

Both provide the same core library, playback, search, folder, transcript, sync, and backup workflows. iPad adapts navigation and layouts to the larger display.

Can I edit my podcast and audiobook information on mobile?

Yes. iPhone and iPad provide settings and actions for one show, episode, book, or part at a time. Bulk editing remains a Mac workflow.

Can I listen without mobile data or Wi-Fi?

Yes, when the source file is downloaded and available on the device. An item visible in iCloud Drive may still need to download before offline playback.
