Audely was made for offline collections of podcast downloads, audiobooks, and archived shows. General audio players could play the files but did not organise podcasts into shows and episodes or give audiobooks a dedicated library. Most podcast apps expected RSS feeds.
Audely combines the strengths of both. Choose your audio folders and it organises podcasts and audiobooks without moving or rewriting the original files.
Audely collects no analytics, requires no separate Audely account, and has no advertising or tracking. Podcast transcripts are generated on your device. Your audio files are never sent to Audely. If you choose an iCloud Drive folder, Apple manages that folder under your Apple Account, independently of Audely. Optional sync and cloud backups contain library data, never audio.
The free version is a complete player with an unlimited local library. Audely Pro adds full podcast transcripts and search, on-device podcast transcript generation, sync, cloud backups, and all Audely themes.
