Generate locally
Start transcript generation on iPhone, iPad, or Mac after downloading the model with Audely Pro.
Audely downloads a transcription model to each device where you choose to use it. Generation processes the podcast episode locally, so the source audio does not need to be handed to a remote transcription service.

Open the full transcript from a podcast episode and move between the audio and generated text.
Include saved transcript text in Audely search to find an episode from something said inside it.
On iPhone and iPad, you start generation manually for one podcast episode at a time. The Transcriptions page shows active and waiting work and lets you cancel it.
Mac adds batch workflows for selected episodes, missing transcripts, and optional automatic generation when new podcast audio is imported. Audiobook parts remain excluded on every platform.

The current model can detect and transcribe around 100 languages, but availability is not a promise of equal accuracy. Treat generated text as a listening aid and check important names, numbers, and quotations against the recording.
When your Audely Pro subscription ends, saved transcripts are retained rather than deleted. You can still remove transcript data or the downloaded model, and a future subscription restores full access.
Transcription runs on the iPhone, iPad, or Mac that starts the work. The podcast audio is not sent to Audely or an external transcription service.

On Mac, Audely Pro can queue selected episodes, generate missing podcast transcripts, and optionally generate transcripts for newly imported podcast audio. On iPhone and iPad, generation is started manually for one episode at a time.
Existing transcript text is not deleted when your Audely Pro subscription ends. Full reading and transcript search pause, while short previews and transcript-removal controls remain available. Subscribing again restores access to retained transcripts.
