What exactly does Audely play?
Your podcast downloads, audiobook files, archived shows, and other long-form audio. Choose local or iCloud Drive folders and Audely builds your library.
Does Audely move or change my files?
No. Audely reads files in place and stores library changes separately. Removing something from Audely does not delete the original audio.
How does sync work?
Audely keeps your library, listening progress, favourites, artwork, and podcast transcripts up to date privately through iCloud. Your audio files are never sent to Audely. If you choose an iCloud Drive folder, Apple manages that folder separately.
Are podcast transcripts generated on the device?
Yes. With Audely Pro, podcast transcripts are generated locally on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your audio files are never sent to Audely.
What does Audely Pro add?
Audely Pro adds full podcast transcripts and search, on-device podcast transcript generation, sync across devices, private backups in iCloud, and 20 Audely themes. The free version remains a complete player with an unlimited local library.
What happens if I cancel Audely Pro?
You keep Audely Pro until the end of your billing period. Your library, audio, transcripts, and backups remain. When your Audely Pro subscription ends, the additional features pause and your appearance choices return to Audely’s defaults.
